The Administrative Support Associate serves as the administrative support for TransferAdmissions & Engagement. As the first point of contact (visit, email, phone), ensure the highest quality of customer serviceto students, staff, faculty, parents, and administrators. Maintain thorough knowledge of Transfer Admissions & Engagement policiesand procedures. Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills. Manage general office duties such asreceptionist duties, preparation of documents and email, compiling records, organizing and maintaining files, mail distribution, greetingvisitors, and answering calls and emails. Perform duties using a variety of technology platforms, including Google suites, MicrosoftOffice, Banner, Slate CRM , DegreeWorks, and others. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required forthis Position Thorough knowledge of standard and professional office practices and procedures. Strong interpersonalcommunication and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions. Detailoriented. Proficient computer capabilities and the ability to quickly learn other software products. Transfer Admissions &Engagement is a high contact/high volume department with a strong emphasis on customer service. PreferredQualifications Desired skills and abilities: outgoing; must enjoy working with people; collaborative; patient; flexible; andthe ability to multitask on a consistent basis. Preferred experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and CustomerRelationship Management systems.  Type of Position: Permanent Full-Time Staff/Non-Faculty: Staff/Non-Faculty Appointment Type: 1.0 WorkSchedule/Hours

Information/Records Administration: Records, compiles and summarizes data using established format.Compiles and organizes information from different sources to develop reports and data. Knowledge-Program: Understands programs and services to apply this knowledge in problem-solving and responding to most questions and inquiries. Uses programknowledge to interface with other offices and organizations. Provides assistance to students with class registration, course permits, courseadds/drops and assigns program advisors. Applies knowledge of University textbook policies in relation to faculty textbook orderrequirements. Problem Solving: Assesses and may resolve unprecedented problems that require research and reviewof policy and procedures.
