About the opportunity: SWCA Environmental Consultants has an opportunity for an Administrative / Logistics Support Professional (HR Title: Administrative Specialist) to join our multi-disciplinary team in Reno, NV. This individual will need to be able to prioritize and multitask with minimal supervision.
This position may be filled at a full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time capacity (20+ hours per week). The ideal candidate should be able to work M-F; 4-5 hours per day (or more); preferably 8am-1pm or 9am-2pm. Schedule is flexible although a consistent schedule is preferred.
Our Reno office offers a dynamic work environment and specializes in Natural Resources, Cultural Resources, and Permitting.

What you will accomplish: Answer incoming phone/email requests for administrative support both internally from employees and externally from clients. Administrative tasks such as office supply orders, mail/FedEx, picking up groceries, maintaining break room, meeting coordination, and other office-related tasks. Coordinate both onsite and offsite office, community events and volunteer opportunities as part our SWCA Gives Back program. You will onboard new employees and offer on-site orientation. Setup desks for new hires with monitor, laptop, keyboard and mouse. Coordinate shipping and receiving of equipment. Manage office equipment, vendors and act as a point of contact with property management. Collaborate with corporate departments as directed. Logistics duties will include organizing safety gear, securing travel, outgoing and incoming forms and data, tracking expenditures and reconciling billing. You will serve as the Office Safety Representative and manage health and safety compliance tasks, scheduling training courses, and monthly reporting. Maintain office vehicles (preventative maintenance/car washes/coordinate repairs/claims), as well as securing rental vehicles from a branch location. Experience and qualifications for success: Excellent attention to detail, ability to follow through on assigned tasks, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.  Ability to work a flexible schedule, that may include evenings and weekends, in a safe and productive manner. Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic work environment.  Ability to work independently and as a member of a team with excellent team collaboration skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Word and Excel. Must have a valid driver license. Preferred candidate will have organizational skills and have demonstrated in MS-Office, MS-Outlook, and Internet/Intranet technologies; Smartsheet and Google Earth familiarity a plus. Able to work independently and collaborate with a variety of colleagues. An employee in this Reno office based position should expect an hourly wage of $19.00-24.50/hour. Actual pay within this range may depend on experience, qualifications, geographic location, client requirements where applicable, and other factors permitted by law.
