Responsibilities
• Provide confidential and complex technical and administrative support to Associate Director and Unit Heads• Coordinate grants administration, file and document development, financial processing, program coordination, and event planning• Handle a wide variety and volume of confidential and business sensitive documents• Complete annual reports and provide administrative support to multiple staff• Assist with submission of manuscripts and grant proposals• Schedule meetings, record minutes, and arrange travel• Draft letters and memorandums• Support animal care needs as requested• Operate and manage the Division's Bridge site and external website
Requirements
• Four years of general office or secretarial experience; OR an Associate's degree or certificate in office occupations or office technology and two years of general office or secretarial experience; OR a Bachelor's degree and two years of general office or secretarial experience; OR an equivalent combination of training and experience• Advanced skills in PC and Mac operating systems, Microsoft office products, and bibliography programs• Intermediate database skills• Advanced business communication skills• Extensive interpersonal skills• Ability to think analytically and devise creative solutions• English language proficiency• Strong mathematical skills• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment• Ability to work independently, multi-task, prioritize, and meet goals• Demonstrable record of reliable attendance, punctuality, and successful performance
