Acute Care - Physical Therapist PRN Looking for an PT who is flexible, creative, committed, reliable, and able to operate at the highest level of clinical practice. The employee must be self-driven, outcomes oriented, and able to demonstrate quality work within a fast paced environment, so as to meet productivity as it aligns with our stewardship value. A good candidate is also someone who is highly collaborative and able to see the "big picture". There is need for strong communication between OT/PT/PTA/COTA/SLP, as well as other care team members such as physician, nursing and CM/SW. One must be comfortable, willing, and capable to work as a team, as well as work independently, but pull in assist when needed. The Acute Therapy department at Auburn focuses on acute inpatient therapy in ICU, PCU, Med/Surg, ED, ortho, total joint replacements, neuro, and podiatry. MultiCare utilizes EPIC for all electronic medical records. The full-time position is benefitted (Medical, Dental, Vision, Continuing Education, PTO, sick time). Full-time employees are required to work 3 Holidays per year and are randomized for equity's sake. It is also expectation that all staff may be trained to provide cross coverage for both Auburn and Covington campuses, pending census and staffing needs.
FTE: : 0, Shift: : Days Schedule: per diem; weekend day rotation required, but need for true per diem availability during week as well; usually pre-scheduled coverage for PTO, but night prior or morning of contact for census fluctuations or unexpected needs. Position Summary The Physical Therapist is an exciting opportunity at MultiCare, evaluating, planning, and implementing medically prescribed treatment programs for patients to restore functions, relieve pain and prevent disability following disease or injury. This professional-level position gives you the capacity for independent operations as you apply discretion and good judgment toward ensuring high-quality therapeutic care. Responsibilities You will perform well in stress and emergency situations You will perform patient evaluations/re-evaluations, establish a treatment plan, and modify the treatment plan according to the needs of the patient and response to treatment You will perform treatment interventions for outpatient and/or inpatient population as directed You will perform documentation in the medical record that is timely and accurate You will communicate well with patients, peers, other health professionals in the coordination of care for the patients Requirements Successful completion of state board examination Currently licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Washington Experience in orthopedic, neurologic, cardiac patient management desirable Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration and Kindness. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $42.25 - $66.99 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
