Your Role:
As an Actuarial Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our asset liability management team. Your responsibilities will include producing periodic risk reports, conducting performance attribution, and assisting in variable and fixed annuity asset liability management and risk assessment. Reporting directly to the Lead Actuary, you will focus on reporting, modeling, sensitivity analysis, project management, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quantify monthly statutory liability and asset valuation for variable annuities and structured investment annuities (SIA).
- Support the Valuation Team in scenario generation and BLICNY reserving & capital requirement.
- Conduct sensitivity grid and attribution analysis for variable annuity hedge strategy.
- Perform ad hoc risk analysis as required.
- Maintain and improve asset projection models under the PathWise platform for variable annuities, structured investment annuities, and assets.
- Implement future hedging strategy (FHS) processes in production environment.
- Maintain real-world economic scenario generation (ESG) models and update annual assumptions.
- Optimize processes, conduct research and development, and support growth initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Python programming or other relevant programming languages (e.g., R, MATLAB, SAS).
- Knowledge of VBA and SQL is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and time management skills with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Completion of preliminary actuarial exams is strongly desired; ASA designation would be advantageous.

- Competitive base salary ranging from $80,000 to $93,000, with additional performance-based incentives.
