The Multi-Family Real Estate Acquisition Analyst role will involve research and analysis of multi-family markets and deals for Interface Properties' growing portfolio.

Its subsidiaries were strategically formed over time to add value to the real estate investment by providing proprietary and third-party development and management services, including design and procurement, general contracting, hotel operations, and lifestyle branding.
Acquisition Financial Analyst
Position Summary
We are looking for an analytically minded, detail-oriented Analyst to be a member of our tight-knit Acquisition and Development Teams in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
This Individual will analyze and underwrite opportunities and must understand real estate concepts with strong grasp of financial terms, calculations, and principles necessary in real estate underwriting.
The position requires support experience and involves supporting the daily activities of the team in a wide variety of tasks.
Candidate will have direct interaction with senior management, should be able to work independently, works well under pressure, has strong organizational and time management skills, high level of integrity and great interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
Working under moderate supervision, conducts a range of critical and analytical tasks underwrites financial cash flow modeling and analysis for commercial real estate and ad hoc finance.
Analyze complex financial information and conduct financial modelling.
Benchmark and analyze individual- and portfolio-level financial
Research and analyze real estate market fundamentals
Assist in preparation of proposals, marketing materials / information package on sell side transactions
Research property-specific demographics and economic trends to support financial assumptions via internal programs and Internet research.
Work with CRM, CoStar, LoopNet, Rent Comps and Sales Comps
Research and stay abreast of industry changes
Update and maintain internal Data
Qualifications
Key Requirements
Hotel Administration and/or Real Estate Finance preferred.
A minimum of three (3) years' experience is required. Emphasis placed on financial analysis and hospitality
Excellent report writing skills and attention to detail is essential
Proficiency in English
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and other software skills a plus
Excellent written and verbal skills.
