Accounts Payable Specialist

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST (Permanent) Our client a health services organization in WNY is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their growing team.
Responsibilities: Perform daily Accounts Payable functions from start to finish to ensure accurate information and timeliness Setup all new suppliers verifying all banking information and ensuring all information is input into system properly Reconcile accounts and update when appropriate Regularly review invoices versus purchase orders for accuracy prior to payment Process ACH payments wire transfers and cut checks to ensure accurate and timely payments Process any voids or stoppayments when necessary Reissue checks in resolution to staledated checks Generate financial reports and present to upper management for use during audits Act as the initial point of contact for any inquiries and/or disputes ensuring exceptional communication and customer service Ensure prompt resolution to issues as they arise Maintain compliance at all times Complete special projects as assigned Other duties as assigned/as necessary Details: Position is full time direct hire 100% inoffice standard 40 hours/week $20.00$26.00/hour depending on experience Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related preferred; Associates degree required 3 years experience in Accounts Payable preferred Excellent computer skills specifically Excel Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) Strong organization skills and time management skills Strong attention to detail Selfmotivated Maintain high level of confidentiality Relocation not available Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available All employees and applicants please know that you have access at all times to New York State and Federal Labor Laws and Posters at the Government Agency websites: ;
