Job Summary The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices efficiently, tracking outgoing payments, and monitoring company expenditures, including payroll. This role involves maintaining records, verifying expense reports, handling petty cash, reviewing vendor agreements, negotiating discounts, and managing sales and use tax payments. Candidates must be organized, able to multitask, and possess a solid understanding of accounts payable principles along with basic computer skills.
Responsible for processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices in an efficient and timely manner. Track outgoing payments Monitor company expenditures (including payroll) Maintain records Verify expense reports Maintain petty cash Review vendor and service provider agreements Negotiate with vendors and service providers to secure discounts Track and pay sales and use tax Skills Required Must be organized and able to multitask and manage time well. Possess solid understanding of accounts payable principles. Basic computer skills. Education/Training/Certifications High School Diploma or equivalent.
