Position Overview: Summit Line Construction is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing team in Las Vegas. The AP Specialist will provide support to the accounting department, while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines and regulations.
Responsibilities: Set up and maintain account status with vendors and subcontractors Process accounts payable invoices – up to 150 per week Route invoices to Project Managers for invoice approval for correct job coding Review balance states for invoice accuracy Troubleshoot calls from customer and vendor inquiries Provide backup to accounts receivable and other departments as needed Organize and maintain AP invoice and vendor digital files Maintain contractor COI and waiver Other duties as assigned Requirements: Minimum 1-2 years' experience in accounts payable is required Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and other associated software.
