Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Analyst to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Analyst will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and efficient accounts payable records. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities - Review and update Oracle Initiation Queue/AP invoice submission queue.
- Retrieve AP invoices from supplier/provider websites and facilitate processing.
- Code and process vendor invoices and internal disbursement requests.
- Conduct audits of employee expense reports, meticulously comparing them against corporate travel policies and requested expense reimbursements. Ensure timely review and reconciliation to facilitate preparation for weekly payments
- Assist in the preparation and processing of payments, including resolution of any failed payments.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to the processing of invoices and expense reports.
- Collaborate in existing supplier modification and acquisition of new supplier documentation for onboarding.
-Collaborate on Oracle system enhancement testing, including banking automation, to optimize processes and ensure seamless integration with accounts payable functions.
-Assist in the implementation and maintenance of SOX controls related to accounts payable processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies, best practices, and regulatory requirements
- Handle vendor correspondence via email or phone in a professional manner.
- Support month-end close activities and ensure accurate maintenance of accounting records and reports.
- Manage multiple incoming email inboxes daily.
- Assist with Tax coding, documentation, and reporting as needed.
Job Requirements - Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience preferred.
- Strong work ethic with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer.
