Including reconciling and updating worksheets. Communicates with DCFS on grants.Manages accounts receivable functions, including recording revenue and applying payments in the financial system.Prepares journal entries, including recurring, prepaid, payroll and depreciation, etc.Prepares cash receipts for grants and adjusts balances.Performs back up for accounts payable.Assist in assembling data for annual financial audits, program audits and special projects.Works with Chief Financial Officer on monthly close and preparation of financial reports.Performs other tasks and functions as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.Educational Requirements and General QualificationsMinimum Degree Required : Bachelors DegreeDegree Preferred : Masters or Bachelors Degree in AccountingMinimum Years of Experience : 2 year of accounting experience, including accounts receivable & journal entries. Non-profit experience is a plus.Information Technology Skills Required:
Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Accounting software proficiency.Other Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication and time management skills. Full time use of insured, operating automobile and valid driver's license
