Special Requirements The position(s) require(s) completion of educational courses as specified in the Class Specification (link available in the Minimum Requirements section). The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired. 1. 2. Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. If it is determined an applicant does not meet the Minimum Qualifications, the candidate will be withheld from the eligibility list, rendering them inactive and ineligible to be hired for the position. 3. Candidates new to CDCR or the Division of Juvenile Justice are required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan Fingerprinting, and Tuberculosis testing prior to appointment followed by department annual Tuberculosis testing/evaluation thereafter.
4. School Transcripts – Candidates who attended a college or university that is accredited by a foreign or non-US accrediting agency must have their educational units evaluated by an educational evaluation service. The evaluation must include the name of the educational evaluation services, the date, and the name of the evaluator.
