Accounting Manager
Dallas, TX
Compensation : $115k-$125k + bonus DOE
One of Vaco's fast growing clients is looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as their Accounting Manager. Ideal candidates will have a blended background of finance and accounting, be deadline driven, and have experience partnering with executive leadership.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of the company's budget and forecasts, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making.
Oversee successful completion of month-end close, full accounting functions
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Coordinate external audits, including liaising with auditors and providing necessary documentation.
Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives and long-term sustainability.
Identify and implement process improvements
Complete monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc management reporting
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a similar field
CPA preferred
Public accounting experience highly preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
