Accounting Clerk

Accounting Clerk Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for supporting the accounting department by entering financial data, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with various accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing and recording invoices, receipts, and other financial transactions
- Reconciling bank and credit card statements
- Generating financial reports and assisting with budget preparation
- Maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable records
- Verifying and posting financial transactions in accounting software
- Assisting with payroll processing and employee expense reports
- Assisting with month-end and year-end financial closing processes
- Providing support to the accounting team as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
