Accounting Clerk

This is a direct hire position.Our client is adding a team member to their accounting department that can handle a high volume of transactions and work in multiple systems. There are approximately multiple bank accounts that are reconciled every month. Most payments include additional funds that are transferred to the bank accounts.
General Responsibilities;
Daily input of invoice transactions from departments including Transfers and Commercial Bonds.
Daily input of credit card payments
Daily bank transfers from the operating account to other accounts
Process checks received for bank deposit.
Monitor the general accounting email for accounts payable invoices and enter.
Monthly reconciliation of the transfer invoices, commercial invoices, multiple bank accounts.
Quarterly reconciliation of transfer and commercial invoices.
Other occurring tasks
Review customer accounts and apply payments to the correct invoice.
Provide backup to others in the department, including processing of claims checks and invoices.
