Currently, we are seeking an Accountant to become a part of the HIROTEC team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performing monthly bank reconciliations. Reconciling employees' company credit card transactions on a monthly basis as well as assigning proper job costing and/or general ledger accounts to the individual charges. Preparing monthly job costing accrual entries. Assisting with collection of timesheet data for job costing, payroll and invoicing needs. Analyzing financial information detailing assets and liabilities for account reconciliation and month end close purposes. Preparing and posting general ledger entries as needed. Assisting with work paper preparation for taxes and year-end financial statement audit. Preparing monthly activity reports to support other departments across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 0-3 years of experience with financial reporting, reconciliation, taxes, general ledger, internal controls and job costing. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Preferred Experience with a variety of accounting software packages (i.e. Solomon, Crystal Reports, SQL database, etc.). Excellent written and oral communication skills.
