JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial-minded individual to join our team as an Accountant/Business Manager to lead our team and drive the continued success and growth of our business. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, bookkeeping, and tax services, along with exceptional leadership skills and a passion for client service. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OPERATIONS Lead day-to-day operations of the accounting firm, overseeing client management, staff supervision, and financial administration. Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the firm's client base and increase revenue streams. Identifying client needs such as Client Advisory Services. Sustain & foster our positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, professional development, and employee engagement. Provide strategic leadership and direction to the company, guiding overall business operations and growth initiatives. Create and nurture a culture of excellence, teamwork, and innovation within the team. Identify and recommend opportunities for current staff to refine their skills and expertise. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct. ACCOUNTING & FINANCE & TAX Provide financial expertise and guidance to clients, including tax planning, financial analysis, and strategic advice. Oversee accounting, bookkeeping, and tax service operations, guaranteeing top-notch service delivery and client contentment. Guide, supervise, and aid bookkeeping team of four, addressing queries, overseeing projects, and nurturing their professional development. Supervise and refine accounting and bookkeeping procedures, proposing improvements as necessary. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices providing expert advice to clients. Prepare income tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Prepare and review periodic financial statements for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP or financial reporting standards and providing strategic financial advice and recommendations to clients. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA preferred but not required Progressively responsible experience in accounting, finance or business management 3+ years of experience in tax preparation 3+ years of supervisory experience Proven track record of successfully launching and growing new service offerings Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team Knowledge of small business management principles and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and staff Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and problem-solving Strong organizational and time management abilities Exceptional customer interaction and service skills Proficiency in accounting and tax preparation software, as well as MS Office suite, Excel, and QuickBooks Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to new technologies and tools Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends BENEFITS :
