The Sales Manager is responsible for sales related activities for Rotork Fairchild productsThe position is based in Winston-Salem and territory will be determined based on market knowledge and experienceResponsibilities include developing and maintaining customer relationships with various stakeholders

Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain customer relationships with End Users, Engineering Consultants, Contractors, and Channel Partners• Manage local channel partners and maximize their performance• Monitor and pursue project sales and service and aftermarket sales• Respond to customer needs and engage with the company's Factory Service Group• Deliver effective reporting and ensure data is recorded and shared• Stay informed about competitive position and actions of competitors• Cooperate with Manager and other Area Sales Managers to develop a sales plan aligned with company goals• Provide regular business forecasts for all products and services• Generate monthly sales reports for accurate business projections• Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
• Proven experience with coordinating the sale of products and services on capital projects• Experience with cold calling end-user customers• Engineering or similar technical degree• Desire to deliver quality products to internal and external customers• Tact and strong diplomatic skills when dealing with staff, customers, and suppliers• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and CRM• Experience in sales of engineered industrial automation products or process equipment• High level of self-motivation, independence, and self-reliance• Knowledge of Chemical Industry, Mining, and Automated Industrial Processes
