We also aspire to operate academic success afterschool programs as a vendor or service provider in schools and community centers.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an Academic Director to join our team on a part-time basis. This role will require flexibility and versatility, as you will be involved in various aspects of our educational and operational initiatives. You will work closely with our internal employees, students, parents, school administrators, community leaders, and marketing departments to ensure the highest quality of education and service.
Key Responsibilities:
Educational Program Review:
Evaluate and review the learning materials and curriculum used in our tutoring programs to ensure they meet high educational standards.
Quality Assurance:
Sit in on tutoring sessions to monitor and ensure the quality of instruction provided by our tutors.
Parental and Administrative Meetings:
Meet with parents, school principals, and administrators to discuss and promote our tutoring services and educational programs.
Internal Support:
Provide general advice and support to our internal employees on educational strategies and best practices.
Community Engagement:
Represent Sapience Tutoring in meetings with community leaders, politicians, and other stakeholders to foster partnerships and promote our mission.
Qualifications:
Strong background in education, with experience in teaching, curriculum development, or educational administration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with a diverse range of individuals including students, parents, school administrators, and community leaders.
Ability to travel to our Henderson and Summerlin locations, as well as to off-site meetings within the vicinity.
Flexible and adaptable, capable of handling a variety of tasks and responsibilities.
Passionate about education and committed to fostering academic success in students.
