Position: Kroc AV Tech (AVT)
Location/Dept .: The Salvation Army Kroc Center (SAKC), Philadelphia, PA
Availability : Immediate
Schedule: Part Time Plus - Must be willing and able to work weekends and evenings as will be required in performance of duties or as requested to support the ongoing operations of the Kroc Center.
Reporting Relationship: Sales and Marketing Manager
Salary: $20.14 Grade: 77 Position Description: The Kroc Audio Visual Technician will provide technical support in all areas related to the operation of all multimedia, lighting, digital signage, audio, and video requirements needed for performances and events in the various venues of the Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center. This position supports the mission of The Salvation Army, therefore, will provide audio visual support for the worship services at the Kroc Corps.
Requirements: Associates degree or coursework equivalence. Be able to function in a fast-paced, frequently changing work environment and balance multiple tasks at once. Must possess previous audio/visual/lighting experience. Must be computer proficient; possess knowledge of the performing arts and sensitivity to the needs of artists. The ability to give excellent attention to detail. Must be willing and able to work evening's andweekends. Must be able and willing to attend worship services at least two Sundays per month. Must be able to lift and carry at least 40 pounds; ability to move about a large facility. The successful candidate will be a team player; able to work with a variety of ethnic and socio-economic populations. Must possess the ability to handle
sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Must be able to read, write, and clearly communicate in English. This role requires the ability to function effectively without supervision. Must maintain a professional attitude and approach to problem solving. Must have a valid Pennsylvania State Driver's License. As a Mandated Reporter, must provide proof of having completed training on recognizing and reporting child abuse meeting the training standards of PA Act 153 of 2014 within 30 days of employment with recurrent training required every five years thereafter. Meets the Child Protection Clearances required by PA Act 153 to include PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record Check. Must possess understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army and the RJKCCC.
