Web Chat Officer - Remote Work

Job Description:

W.W. Grainger is seeking a motivated and resourceful Web Chat Officer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote work position based in Dallas, Texas. As a Web Chat Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support through online chat services.

Responsibilities:1. Engage with customers through web chat to provide assistance, answer questions, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.2. Utilize problem-solving skills to identify and address customer needs effectively.3. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.4. Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent service and support delivery.5. Provide product information and recommendations to customers as needed.6. Meet or exceed performance targets for response times, customer satisfaction, and resolution rates.7. Continuously improve knowledge of products and services offered by the company.

Requirements:1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field.2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.3. Resourceful and driven attitude with the ability to think quickly on your feet.4. Strong presentation skills and the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.5. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.6. Must be comfortable working remotely and have a reliable internet connection.7. Associate level or equivalent education is preferred.
