Job Summary: The shift manager is responsible for leading a team of warehouse associates in ensuring inbound and outbound shipments of products are maneuvered and processed safely through the warehouse.

Responsible for timeliness and accurate daily reporting to the Ops Manager. Responsible for examining shipment contents by comparing records such as BOLs, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy of shipment. Ensures the culture of the department aligns to NPF core values. Be responsible for and follow safety and health regulations by participating in and leading safety meetings, reporting hazardous conditions, and performing job according to Best Practices. Assist in training and coaching all warehouse employees following training guidelines and Best Practices. Recommend improvements to our systems and processes to improve KPI performance. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills: Must be certified to operate a forklift. Warehousing experience is required. Must be a team player. Must have experience working in a temperature-controlled environment. Experience in a leadership role required.
Must have good teamwork skills and effectively communicate with others. Must be dependable and have a good attendance record. Must have basic math and computer skills. Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, or when requested to support the 24/7 business. Must be able to repetitively lift/carry up to fifty pounds and push/pull up to 250 pounds. Must be able to perform frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, and squatting and frequent reaching over shoulder, waist level, and from the floor. We are an equal opportunity employer.
