POSITION SUMMARY:
Location: Driving Distance to Smyrna, Georgia
The Vice President of Sales - Americas, will be a key leader responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic sales initiatives, developing team members, and expanding market share across the Americas region. Reporting directly to the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, this individual will play a critical role in executing the sales strategy and developing a high-performing sales team across many verticals.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Execute the sales strategy for the Americas region, aligning with overall company objectives and market trends.
Lead, inspire, and develop a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive performance and exceed targets.
Foster a culture of customer-centricity, ensuring that customer needs are understood and addressed effectively to drive long-term relationships and loyalty.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and operations to ensure alignment and maximize opportunities for growth.
Identify new business opportunities and market segments, driving expansion into untapped markets and territories.
Use data to drive informed decisions and make necessary adjustments to the sales strategy as needed.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to enhance the company's reputation and market position.
Establish and monitor metrics to track sales performance, changes in market, and provide regular updates as required.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes, providing recommendations and insights to inform business decisions.
Identify opportunities for SLINGCO to showcase products and company culture.
Champion a culture of a growth mindset continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the sales organization.
Travel, approximately 50% throughout the Americas to build the relationships necessary to build the brand.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
Proven track record of success in industrial sales leadership roles within the industrial products sector, with a strong understanding of the Americas industrial market.
Demonstrated experience leading high-performing sales teams and driving revenue growth in a complex and competitive environment that includes working with distribution and end users alike.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with analytical skills and the ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding targets and driving performance.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and challenges.
Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and deliver exceptional results.
