The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Underground Frontline Supervisor to join our team at our Goldstrike operations. This critical role plays a pivotal part in ensuring our underground mining operations are safe, efficient, and productive operation.
Responsibilities Supervise and direct underground mining crews, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational standards. Assign personnel and equipment to optimize productivity and efficiency Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure equipment performance and compliance with mine plans Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and safety awareness Monitor and evaluate crew performance, providing feedback and support for continuous improvement Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures Maintain accurate records and reports related to underground operations Minimum of six (6) years of proven experience in underground mine operations Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in an underground mining environment In-depth knowledge of underground hard rock mining techniques and equipment Strong understanding of mine planning, scheduling, and maintenance practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate teams Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work under pressure Exceptional safety and performance record
