About the Role As our Technical Writer, you will be an integral part of our Documentation team, working closely with the Head of Documentation to transform complex information into easy-to-understand, engaging, and useful content for our users. Your work will play a crucial role in enhancing our customers' experience by providing clear, accurate, and timely documentation for our products and services.
Your Day to Day Collaborate with the Head of Documentation, engineering, product teams, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality documentation for new products, features, and APIs. Contribute to the organization and discoverability of documentation, ensuring users can easily find the information they need. Participate in the content creation process, including writing, editing, and reviewing documentation to maintain high standards of accuracy and quality. Assist in developing and implementing innovative documentation strategies and tools to enhance user engagement and understanding. Support the maintenance of documentation, including regular updates and improvements based on user feedback and performance analysis. Engage in the documentation testing process to ensure technical accuracy and user-friendliness. Contribute to the evaluation of documentation success through both quantitative metrics and qualitative feedback. About You Proven experience in technical writing or documentation, with a portfolio of written documentation examples. Strong knowledge of the Python programming language and experience with APIs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical writing, product documentation, or a related field. A collaborative team player with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and objectives. Familiarity with documentation tools, version control systems, and content management platforms. Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. Labelbox strives to ensure pay parity across the organization and discuss compensation transparently. The expected annual base salary range for this United States-based position is $100,000 - $120,000. This range is not inclusive of any potential equity packages or additional benefits. Exact compensation varies based on a variety of factors, including skills and competencies, experience, and geographical location.
