We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Talent Acquisition team as the Talent Acquisition Coordinator (Administrative Support Coordinator I). The ideal candidate in this role should have a positive attitude and an active, energetic mind that is characterized by highly ethical practices and a commitment to diversity, openness, flexibility, integrity, and kindness.The Talent Acquisition Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for the division of Human Resources, Diversity and Inclusion - Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Department. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator greets and welcomes community members with enthusiasm, providing an array of administrative support to the team. Coordinates and oversees the onboarding program which includes reviewing and preparing sign-in documents, checking electronic sign-in process, setting up the conference room, hosting presentations, and onboarding new hires. Provides guidance on recruitment processes and status updates, posting career opportunities, receiving, and maintaining confidential information/data and entering data in automated Human Resources systems and databases. Assists with the training of student assistants and decentralized campus partners as needed.Responsible for maintaining and archiving recruitment files, gathering data to create reports, and interacting with and solving problems for customers and department staff. Uses customer service and problem-solving skills to respond to applicants and customers via email, telephone, and in person. Coordinates and schedules meetings and events. Coordinates and works with individuals at all levels within the organization. Other duties as assigned.Essential QualificationsHigh School diploma or the equivalent and four years of progressively responsible experience in general office, clerical or secretarial work or the equivalent. Thorough, detailed knowledge of applicable university infrastructure, policies, and procedures. Thorough knowledge of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Thorough knowledge of office systems with the ability to use a range of technology, systems and software packages. Ability to independently handle multiple work unit priorities and projects. Ability to apply a variety of policies and procedures where specific guidelines may not exist. Working knowledge of budget policies and procedures. Ability to perform standard business math including calculating ratios and percentages, tracking financial data, and making simple projections. Ability to draft and compose correspondence and standard reports. Ability to handle effectively a broad range of interpersonal contacts including those at a higher level and those sensitive in nature.A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily and is required for employment. CSU will make a conditional offer of employment, which may be rescinded if the background check reveals disqualifying information, and/or it is discovered that the candidate knowingly withheld or falsified information. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the continued employment of a current CSU employee who was conditionally offered the position.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in Human Resources, higher education, and/or payroll environment. Demonstrated experience in front office work. Fluency in using standard office software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
