Role Summary:
The Supply Chain Finance Sourcing Leader is a key leadership role within the Supply Chain Finance organization and will be responsible for supporting and executing Sourcing strategies and improve key metrics while leveraging the Aviation Operating System strategy to standardize and automate operational financial reporting, analytics and processes across the global Aviation Avionics and BGA&IS sites. The role will work across multiple ERP systems, value streams and business units.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Finance Sourcing Leader role requires working with executive as well as seasoned, senior level managers and individual contributors requiring in-depth understanding of the business and how their role integrates with Sourcing Finance within their discipline. The role also requires good understanding of suppliers, industry, function, commercial and governmental markets.
Additionally, as the Supply Chain Finance Sourcing Leader, Key Responsibilities Include:
Drive optimal performance in areas listed below and identify opportunities as it related to the Sourcing organization through standard, timely and actionable analytics across US / European businesses including but not limited to material deflation and days to pay.

Provide approvals and ensure compliance with sourcing policies as they relate to finance including but not limited to:
Transfer pricing
Advances to suppliers
Terms & conditions
Support the Source Board process with financial analysis and approvals of proposals and supporting business cases for projects including make versus buy
Partner with Operations, Value Stream, Digital and Finance leaders to drive and improve actionable analytics across all key areas
Ensure compliance with Sourcing Policy 650.10 by managing, providing financial analysis and approvals using the Contract Management Toolbox (CMTx) workflow
Approve Risk Sales Orders to support purchases that are over and above firm Customer demands to protect lead time or securing Last Time Buys
Drive controls and checks across systems to increase data quality and identify process or systems issues quickly and get them corrected
Ensure compliance with applicable Cost Disclosure statements
Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) including Truthful Cost or Pricing Data formally known as Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)
Develop team talent and provide opportunities to grow the skill sets of team members

Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Finance, Sourcing, Manufacturing Operations or related field)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance - Manufacturing Operations or equivalent experience in a related field
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT(S):
Please Note: Grand Rapids, MI is the Preferred location. However, other GE Aviation locations may be considered
