What you can expect in this position: Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor, performs assigned tasks and/or projects related to the area-specific internship. Versiti is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, people-focused Human Resources summer intern, focusing on the area of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). This internship is designed to gain professional and diverse experiences through a hands-on approach with a multi-state human resources team. The career path of human resources and DEI offers a variety of opportunities, especially at Versiti. As a part of that inspiration, this internship helps support the programming, administration, and operations of our initiatives through relevant projects and challenges within DEI. The internship provides the opportunity to work closely with the Director of DEI and Community Outreach and DEI Consultant on all aspects of Versiti's DEI Strategy.

Participate in cross functional CapStone Intern Project with report out to Executive Leadership Maintains effective communication with internal and external stakeholder via email, phone and in person meetings Participate and contribute to department meetings, execute on goals and objectives to deliver outstanding results Assists with special projects as assigned Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification Understands and performs in accordance with all applicable regulatory and compliance requirements Complies with all standard operating policies and procedures Education Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university program in a related field of the internship. required Experience Completed a minimum of 2 years in college/university in a related field of study for the internship preferred Basic Microsoft Office skills preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Effective communication skills preferred Ability to be customer-focused and follow through on requests promptly preferred Strong organizational skills preferred Ability to quickly and accurately understand instructions and then work independently on assignments preferred Ability to handle confidential information appropriately preferred Demonstrates keen attention to detail preferred Tools and Technology Personal and Network Computer required MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required Printer, fax, and copy machines required Multiple phone lines required When you will work? This is a full-time, 40 hour per week internship, working Monday-Friday. The internship will begin on June 3 rd . Our 10 - week summer internships are designed to provide hands-on, project-based experience in various areas of our business.
