Sugar Grove Campus Student Worker Hybrid Option: No The Student Ambassador position's basic function is to uphold the mission of the program, which is to develop and encourage peer relationships between current and prospective students by providing information and guidance during the admissions process. The Student Ambassador reports to the Admissions Coordinator. Responsibilities
Conductphone outreach to new inquiries within 24 business hours of receiving theinquiry. Contactprospective students by phone for the purposes of serving as an informationalresource and assisting them in the registration process.
Conductre-engagement calls to prospective students in order to determine interest andassist with remaining steps to getting started.
Performdata entry of prospective student information and record notes from studentoutreach into the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Assistwith closing completed tasks in the CRM system.
Conductcampus tours for prospective students, as well as individual campus tours asneeded.
Assist withfacilitating a variety of college events, including New Student Orientation andOpen House events.
Assistwith providing front desk, phone, and student intake coverage as needed.
Assistwith administrative office tasks as needed.
Maintaingeneral knowledge of college activities, programs, and requirements with theability to refer inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
Participatein outreach projects on campus.
Performother duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and occasionalweekends as needed.
Good interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive material.
Must be enrolled in at least one credit class at Waubonsee.
