Description:
The Material Program Manager (MPM) will be responsible for managing Supply Chain Management activities, in support of the Radar Development Contract (RDC) supporting the AN/TPY-2 product in the Strategic Missile Defense business area. This MPM role will serve as the interface between Supply Chain and the Program Office / IPT working on both development and production contracts. Key responsibilities include; developing and implementing material strategies, material forecasting, ensuring cost and schedule requirements are met, metrics, supplier assessments and supporting proposal activities.

Knowledge and experience purchasing complex assemblies for military applications (desirable)
Required Skills:Minimum 8 years of progressive, relevant business experience
Experience leading or participating in cross-functional teams
Experience making presentations (verbal and/or written) to key stakeholders
Demonstrated experience in managing suppliers or projects
Experience in desktop computing tools (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project)
Ability to obtain and/or maintain a US Government Security Clearance
Desired Skills:
Prior experience working in the defense industry
Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR and DFAR)
Experience with import/export regulations (ITAR/EAR)
Demonstrated experience managing critical strategic suppliers
Organizational capabilities and be detail oriented
Ability to grasp / understand technical concepts / applications
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Required Education (including Major):
Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, operations or other similar field
