Sr Manager Customer Supply Chain

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Manager Customer Logistics, are to:

Execute on customer innovation for growth and efficiencies;
Deliver on goals for Customer Logistics Team to deliver on commitments (OTIF, sales);
Help to develop strategic tools and solutions to deliver business growth in conjunction with the Director, Customer Logistics;
Create a partnership culture between the internal Logistics teams to drive business growth;
Develop and execute strategic and data analyses and drives data-driven recommendations for improvements and advancement of customer partnerships;
Be responsible for the process of acquiring, analyzing and consolidating key account and marketing information, enabling CH to execute against customer sales plans by placing the required inventory in the customers DCs and retail stores;
Deliver on the Customer Logistics Team’s objectives, goals, strategies and measures;
Manage resources within Customer Logistics Team and other business functions to execute on aligned objectives, strategy and vision across the organization, including Sales, Warehousing and Distribution;
Manage strategically resources across the functions that encompass the demand and supply chain including retail customers, Customer Logistics, Sales, Product Supply and Demand Forecasting to deliver on forecast expectations;
Collaborate across Customer Logistics / Supply Chain counterparts to drive adoption of best practices;
Build strong internal partnerships to deliver Customer Logistics objectives, strategy and measures;
Advocate with Commercial, Category and Business to meet customers’ expectations and proactively resolve issues;
Recognize and respond to changes in demand, capacity constraints and marketplace dynamics to minimize disruption and preserve customer relationships;
Direct Order-to-Cash best practices activities interfacing with customers through third- party organizations supporting the Consumer Health organization;
Collaborate with Commercial, Category and Business partners to secure support for the business.

WHO YOU ARE

Your success will be driven by your demonstration of our LIFE values. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with at least 12 years of experience or Master’s degree with at least 10 years of experience;
At least eight years of experience in Supply Chain management and/or Customer Logistics;
Demonstrated progressive leadership / management responsibility while managing cross-functional teams;
Proven ability to execute on strategy;
Successful track-record of solving complex business problems and use of advanced analytical techniques;
Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship management with internal and external business partners / customers;
Demonstrated target-oriented and performance-driven attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least eight years of experience in Supply Chain management and/or Customer Logistics, within the Consumer Product, Consumer Health, CPG or OTC industry.
