Sr. IT Business Analyst - Hybrid Onsite
Innova Solutions has an immediate need for a Sr. IT Business Analyst in the Richmond VA area to work Hybrid onsite 2 days remote with Tue & Wed onsite. Candidates must be local to Richmond VA and available to interview in person. Candidates MUST be able to work W2 (NO C2C OR 1099 candidate will be considers) This is a 5-6 month contact to start that could go longer or convert to FTE
Innova Solutions is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst for a hybrid opportunity with one of our downtown Richmond, VA clients. The IT business analyst (BA) serves as one of the leads on IT related projects to translate internal client wants/needs into actionable project requirements that support business objectives. Using a variety of methods and tools.
Responsibilities
Provides leadership on key projects designed to increase revenue, enhance business efficiency, and improve client relations. Liaises with multiple stakeholders to aggregate, prioritize, and document requirements
for IT system modifications, enhancements, and implementations.
Research's competitive landscape to provide fact-based recommendations to the
stakeholders.
Stays current with customer needs utilizing formal and informal written communication
methods.
Collaborates with team members to articulate and document ideas and viewpoints to
senior management, peers, and others.
Analyzes and synthesizes business requirements, including recognizing patterns and
conceptualizing processes.
Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and
decompose high-level information into details.
Conducts COTS product assessments, demonstrations, cost analysis and prepare
executive level presentation of findings.
Creates business cases including definition of project objectives, KPIs, requirements and priorities. Elicits and documents requirements using interviews, document analysis, focus groups,
surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, task and work-flow analysis.
Prepares company-wide communications articulating business need, solution benefits and actions required to fully deploy solution to users. Analyze business processes for organizational efficiencies, operations, procedures, and
protocols.
Presents to diverse audiences including technical teams, attorneys and senior
leadership.
Identifies ways to increase adoption and sponsor satisfaction. Keeps abreast of industry direction and innovations. Serves on committees and task forces, and undertakes special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience working as a business analyst with key client stakeholders to
define and document business processes including functional and technical system
requirements.
5+ years leading projects, facilitating meetings with technical teams and senior
leadership.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and strong team orientation. Willingness to explore new methods and innovative techniques to improve group and
departmental results.
Experience with waterfall, iterative and agile methodologies. Experience evaluating and recommending COTS products. Ability to establish effective working relationships across organizational boundaries Ability to negotiate critical project factors with clients, peers and manager, and to work collaboratively. PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
