What We’re Looking For: NetMotion Software is looking for a Sr. Architect/Developer to join our Seattle office team! NetMotion is moving in a new direction, and we need you to take a central role in designing and implementing our cloud architecture. You will work in a high-performance, experienced team. They will depend on your leadership and insight to leverage the latest technologies and make our products into globally distributed services. This is a ground floor opportunity to create a state-of-the-art system at a company that prides itself on delivering products of the highest quality.

Be a valued member of a self-managed, cross-functional team using Agile methods

Take development ownership for parts of the system and be willing to help with the rest
Establish new DevOps processes and facilitate our move to CI/CD
Coordinate with all parts of the company including executives, operations, sales, and marketing
Your Skills:
10+ years programming in C++, Rust, Java, C#, Python, Go, and/or JavaScript (the more the better)
3+ years developing, delivering, and supporting cloud-based services
Comfortable architecting multitenant, georedundant, client-server systems
Professional-level knowledge of containers (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
Experienced in scaling solutions in AWS, Azure and/or private clouds
Conversant in networking concepts and protocols
Familiar with iOS and Android platforms. Windows applications and networking a plus
Proactive, self-managing, and self-reporting (we do the opposite of micromanaging here)
Able to make a great team even better and take ownership as needed
Excellent communication skills
Additional consideration given to candidates with the following:
Experience programming with machine learning (Python, Tensorflow, Jupyter, etc.)
Deep understanding of networking including acronyms such as: TCP/IP, PKI, SSO, TLS, MFA, SAML, OAUTH, NTLM, RADIUS, DNS, HTTP/S, LDAP, and SNMP
Splunk (If you have to look it up, don’t. You’ll know if you know it)
Tools such as: Jira, Confluence, Git, Perforce, Jenkins, Salesforce, and (of course) Office apps.
A passion for technology beyond “just a job”
Personality traits relevant to NetMotion’s culture such as: a sense of humor, equanimity, and zeal

At NetMotion, we want people to enjoy the work that they do so we provide our team members with the tools and support they need to be successful. In addition, we have a collaborative and unpretentious environment where creativity is valued.
Why You’ll Love It Here:
Health and life benefits, along with a competitive 401k plan and a company match
9 company paid holidays, 15 paid vacation days, 10 paid sick days, and 2 floating holidays
Commuting and fitness benefits
