Good Samaritan Home Care’s quality care is provided through a team of registered nurses, social workers, companions, dietitians, aides and physical, occupational and speech therapists. We serve the counties of Knox, Daviess, Sullivan, Martin, Greene, Owen and Clay.

Ideal candidate is licensed in both IN and IL.This position will be paid per visit.
Performs initial speech therapy evaluation and direct speech therapy treatments according to the physician’s plan of treatment. Establishes and updates the speech therapy plan of treatment.
Reports changes in patient condition to appropriate personnel and the attending physician. Provides patient care education to clients and other caregivers. Participates in coordination of services with other disciplines and community resources as needed.
Completes and submits all required documentation in a timely manner.
Demonstrates sensitivity to patient and/or family needs, customs or feelings.
Participates in case conferences, summary reports, quarterly record review and annual program review. Attends in-services or special case orientations.
Qualifications
Master’s degree
Currently licensed to practice in IN
Preferred license in IL or willingness to obtain
ASHA certificate of clinical competence
Must obtain and maintain current CPR Certification
One-year speech therapy experience in a clinical setting required
