Definition of Class 13;

This position assists with the implementation of special events. The incumbent assists with the preparation, organization, set:up and break:down of events, maintains inventory of supplies and performs general support duties.

Examples of Work Performed 13;
:Assists in the preparation, organization, set:up and break:down for special events.
:Prepares event space for specified functions.
:Assists in maintaining inventory of supplies for events.
:Operates general office equipment.
:Learns basic audio visual set up.
:Greets clients and guests at University events.
:Maintains cleanliness of banquet/meeting space.
:Arranges for linens to be removed and cleaned following events.
:Ensures proper departmental fleet maintenance through regular service. (i.e. oil changes, tire rotation, etc.)
:Aids in the transfer of special events supplies to various locations across the University campus.
:Ensures supplies are returned after special events are concluded.
:Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.

Essential Functions 13;

These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.

:Assists in the implementation of special events.
:Performs general support duties.

Minimum Education/Experience 13;

Graduation from a standard four:year high school or equivalent (GED).


Six (6) months of experience related to the above described duties.
