Job description
Toyota of Hattiesburg is looking for a Social Media & Marketing Coordinator! This individual will be responsible for the social media platform and reputation management for Toyota Of Hattiesburg. Will train the right person!
Position Summary The Social Media Coordinator is the key to the day to day website, on-line reputation and social marketing operations of Toyota Of Hattiesburg.  The ideal candidate is technology savvy and demonstrates the ability to deliver outcomes in a fast paced environment.
Major Essential Duties Develop and maintain Dealer, Social Media strategy. Design and manage Social Media Calendar. Implement and Monitor Quarterly Facebook Campaigns. Take photos and videos to supplement vendor Social Media postings. Take ownership of specific campaigns to promote Toyota Of Hattiesburg within the community and act as an onsite ambassador to increase customer engagement in all departments. Interface with vendors responsible for managing and updating Toyota Of Hattiesburg social media channels including Facebook and Twitter. Maintains professional appearance and demeanor. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications BS degree in Journalism, Marketing, or Communications preferred but not necessary.  Excellent writing skills, and able to demonstrate a solid working knowledge of the online market and social media channels. Technical understanding of the web; a base level of HTML/CSS is an advantage. Experience developing communities using social media. Reputation Management and Grass Roots Marketing experience a plus! Ability to self-manage, take initiative, yet feel comfortable asking for direction. Excellent organization and time management skills. High level of attention to detail. The willingness to undertake routine administrative tasks. A commitment to the ideals and values of Toyota Of Hattiesburg. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
