The Service Marketing eCommerce Leader will support the marketing and eCommerce activities to grow Healthcare Life Sciences’ BioPharma Services portfolios with a customer-centric mindset. Responsibilities include: ensuring that the development of the overall digital architecture meets near-term requirements of service web launch while making steady progress toward eCommerce area to drive sales enablement activities.
In collaboration with product managers, and horizontal business partners, builds a framework to sell service solutions online and creates offers that maximize online conversion rates for parts, customer training and service contracts.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Implements the Service area Website and product roadmap (in partnership with IT and others) and drives rapid experimentation and enhancements, from improvements in user experience (UX)/user interface (UI) functionality to drive interaction with customers
Designs systems, repositories and reporting functions that will enable Life Sciences BioPharma Services to effectively sell service solutions on the current eCommerce platform
Builds and executes all eCommerce operations including, back-end workflows post sales reporting (e.g. revenue by product portfolios, industry segments, user profiles, etc.) and user experience
Works with MarCom, Service Marketing and digital teams to develop and execute inbound marketing, demand generation, lead management and automated digital marketing programs to drive service revenue for targeted products accounts.
Develops and executes service brand promotional activities (digital programs, education, events/webinars)
Provides digital and eCommerce subject matter expertise to for Service NPI and global programs to drive leads funnels
Leads conversion rate optimization including: A/B testing, customer journey analysis, copy optimization, online surveys/customer feedback, and SEO segmentation
Leads analytics and search engine marketing activities; uses automated tools to perform detailed analysis and reports findings to Global Marketing Leader and stakeholders
Collaborates with other web leaders to define and implement processes, and establishes best practices to optimize sales
Quality Specific Goals:
Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Responsible for ensuring legal and regulatory approval of all marketing communications prior to external release
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific (Life Sciences), computer science, business or technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
7+ years’ experience in digital marketing, product marketing, eCommerce or related field
Strong understanding of marketing analytics & ROI, and deep knowledge of eCommerce marketing systems, tools & platforms
Experience in marketing automation (Marketo), Experience with search, search engine optimization, campaigns, and email.
Web content management experience
Track record of driving growth via eCommerce over a sustained period
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to interpret and present quantitative data
Excellent time-management, planning, prioritization, and project management skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
Life Sciences/Pharma/Biotech industry Service acumen
Experience managing global brands
Innovation – ability to develop new concepts through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
Energetic, adaptable thinker who can navigate and manage change
