Senior Tax Manager

We are a local full service CPA in the Chicago area and have been in business for 80 years. Construction &Contractors, Real Estate, Manufacturing & Distribution, and Closely held businesses are the industries we service.
Our Partner who oversees the Gift/Estate/Trust teams is set to retire within the next year. We're looking for an expert in this area to takeover that role! What You Will Be Doing As Sr Tax Manager/Director in our Gift/Estate/Trust Tax Team, you will:
Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate and individual tax services, including planning, research, compliance, and general mergers and acquisitions activities
Lead with new business development, extended service and tax issue recognition for existing clients
Manage corporate and individual client needs with respect to tax services and federal and state tax compliance
Develop and sustain strong client relationships
Help develop Senior and Staff accountants both technically and professionally through their career What You Need for this Position 12+ years in public accounting with an emphasis in taxation
Experienced with both S Corp, C-Corp, and Partnerships
Expertise with gift/estate/trust tax compliance
CPA license
M.S. in Taxation is preferred
