Position Description:
Grant Funded Position. Renewed annually contingent on funding.
The Brown Cancer Center is seeking a qualified Senior Researcher. This position will provide research training and experience in cellular immunology and tumor immunotherapy study.? Previous training in immunology or biochemistry and experience with human subject study is essential.? Techniques including executing experiments on Time of Flight Mass Cytometry (CYTOF) flow cytometry, molecular cloning, and mouse studies are essential.? The candidate should have motivation to conduct research, organize data collection and analysis, and assist in research-related tasks on specified projects. The candidate is required to manage high efficiency omics technologies in flow cytometry and histopathology. Management and protocol development for multi-parameter flow cytometry and adopting new methods for more efficient use of these technologies for cancer immunology and Immunotherapy projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Perform and manage all experiments related to the project. Coordinate with Principal Investigator (PI) and lab manager for the sample collection and inventory. Prepare and maintain academic and other administrative reports. Perform related duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in Immunology, M.D. or D.V.M.? Five years of related experience with a minimum of two years of related experience post degree. Background in Immunology or Biochemistry preferred. Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency with techniques including next generation flow cytometry, cellular and molecular immunology is essential. Experience with human subject study is desirable. $87,300.00
Target Compensation Minimum:
$58,200.00
