Our client, is seeking an experienced Senior Projects Engineer to join their team and participate in the design and implementation of the mine dewatering infrastructure as well as collaborate on mine design and LOM plans. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Projects Engineer to join a dynamic organization devoted to safety and focused on employee professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate on the design and implementation of the underground mine dewatering infrastructure as well as mine water treatment systems
Evaluate and propose appropriate improvements in mine scheduling and design for open pit and underground operations
Oversee performance of engineering, procurement and construction
Develop LOM plans for open pit and underground operations
Create and implement overall project plans, schedules and milestones
Ensure integrated and complete deliverables for project and contractual requirements

Minimum Requirements:
A degree in Mining Engineering or similar field
At least 7 years of progressive experience in a related role
Advanced Project Management skills including design, scheduling and cost tracking
Knowledge of State and Federal engineering permitting and documentation requirements
Solid experience with mine dewatering and water treatment systems
Proficiency with MS Office as well as mine design and scheduling software for open pit and underground mines
Familiarity with SCADA systems
Experience evaluating and implementing innovative techniques for operational improvement
