Your ImpactIn the role of Sr. Product Manager, Privacy, you'll have the chance to shape the foundational set of privacy products at Axon to ensure we continue to meet and exceed privacy requirements from regulators and customers. You will be accountable for deeply knowing internal stakeholders - Axon colleagues, including other product managers and engineers - and the environments in which they operate, to develop and execute a roadmap that helps the internal stakeholders be more effective at address privacy challenges in their areas.You will incorporate data points from internal stakeholders, industry best practices, and other Privacy team members to define and prioritize scalable privacy product features, guide engineering partners through implementation, and measure products effectiveness. You will be the advocate of these best practices to foster a culture of privacy, mentor and train less experienced privacy staff, and act as a force-multiplier within the organization.What You'll Do Location:Remotely from United StatesOROnsite at our Seattle Washington Office 25% of the timeReports to:Director, Global Head of PrivacyDirect Reports:0Building and iterating privacy and data protection products (e.g. personal data management tool, cookie banner, anonymization/de-identification tool, etc.) through various stages of maturity.Translating privacy requirements into technical/product requirements for engineers to implement. Driving the implementation/GTM of those products/features.Working directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and user journey, and designing experiences to fit those needs. Merely inheriting ownership of an existing application and iterative improvements is not sufficient.Presenting successfully to senior-level audiences, including C-suite, internally and to customers.Working to improve product development process fundamentals, both identifying problems in execution and suggesting proven ways to improve execution.Managing an engineering team's backlog, including ticket authoring, grooming, sprint planning, and pruning. What You BringBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.7+ years of Software Product Management experience of high scale services with proven results driving revenue, engagement, and customer delight.Proven experience forging close relationships with customers and delivering on complex end-to-end solutions.Ability to strategically execute within a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, and complex environment.Possesses critical thinking and analytical skills, including the capacity to identify, assess and prioritize competing deadlines and needs.Fluent in self-serving data and insights via SQL, Excel, etc.Experience with video streaming and/or collaboration technologies a plus.Experience at both startups and large global tech companies is a plus.Experience with large scale personal data management, consent management system a plusExperience with integrating internal solutions with pre-built market privacy solutions a plusBenefits that Benefit YouCompetitive salary and 401k with employer matchDiscretionary paid time offPaid parental leave for allMedical, Dental, Vision plansFitness ProgramsEmotional & Mental Wellness supportLearning & Development programsAnd yes, we have snacks in our officesBenefits listed herein may vary depending on the nature of your employment and the location where you work.#Li-RemotePay TransparencyThe Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 120,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 231,000 in the highest geographic market.  The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
