Senior Mechanical Designer Contract to hire | Princeton, MN | $42 -$48/hour The Mechanical Designer creates designs and technical documentation for mechanical devices and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial automated equipment, gear reduction, servo, and VFD drives. Works well independently and with a team.
Senior Mechanical Designer Duties: Design and manage complete machine assemblies while maintaining company design procedures Traveling to customer facilities to discuss and understand manufacturing processes and concepts Delivering design presentations with both internal and customer teams to ensure all requirements are satisfied Tracking the design progress of multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously and ensuring design consistency Creation of documentation for the machine build process Collaboration with other departments.
