HOW YOU'LL FLY
You'll help to bring more patients their bluebird days by: Leading monthly close activities, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations and analysisContributing ideas to improve processes and procedures and gain system efficiencyWorking with R&D and G&A business partners for the purpose of constructing accrual journal entries for monthly close processes.Supporting the quarterly reviews and annual audit process with the external auditors.Other duties and special projects as assigned WHAT YOU'LL BRING
You're the bird we're looking for if you have: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required with 3+ years of experience in an Accounting role (biotech industry experience strongly preferred)Have advanced Microsoft Excel skillsCPA or demonstrated path towards CPA certification is a plusOracle experience preferredStrong attention to detail, quality, accuracy, and data integrityAbility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, deadline driven business Location: Somerville, MA (Flex Hybrid or Remote) bluebird bio is deeply committed to fostering an environment where diversity and inclusion are not only valued but prioritized.
