Job summary
The Public Safety Security Officer is responsible for inside patrol and public assistance.The officer works under the supervision of the Chief of Police and Shift or Administrative Sergeants.High School Diploma/GED, valid driver's license, and basic computer knowledge required.

Responsibilities
• Perform inside patrol and provide public assistance.• Communicate and maintain a good rapport with the campus population.• Report to the Chief of Police and Shift or Administrative Sergeants.• Ability to walk 8 to 12 miles in an 8 to 12 hour shift.• Ability to climb stairwells.• Basic knowledge of computer and Microsoft Office software.
Requirements
• High School Diploma/GED.• At least 19 years of age.• Current and valid driver's license.• Ability to walk 8 to 12 miles in an 8 to 12 hour shift.• Ability to climb stairwells.• Basic knowledge of computer and general knowledge of Microsoft Office software.• Ability to communicate and maintain a good rapport with the campus population.
