Description:
ProPulse is now hiring a Sales and Marketing Manager to help develop strategic initiatives, establish and retain key customer relationships, and build a top preforming team. This position will report directly to the President and CEO and work closely with executive leadership team to meet strategic goals.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops annual sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectives.
Directs implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
Responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, counseling, skills development and product knowledge development.
Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, development of processes and systems, and advising senior management on maximizing business relationships.
Responsible for managing the sales team, developing a business plan covering sales, revenue and expense controls, meeting agreed targets and promoting the organizations' presence.
Assist in the development of the annual marketing plan, specifically advising on: realistic forecast for each product and territory, realistic cost of operating the sales force; and sales promotion program plans.
Responsible for planning, recruitment, direction, monitoring the performance of the sales staff to accomplish strategic objectives.
Plan and implement a specific appraisal system that describes the responsibilities and performance standards for outside sales team, set individual territory sales and commission targets and administer the commission plan.
Provide high standards of ongoing training for the sales representatives.
Ensures communications are coordinated, supports sales plan objectives and meets organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with the management team.
Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
Performs other related duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 10 years progressively responsible sales and customer support management experience.
Ability to effectively manage a diverse sales and marketing team with annual sales of 40-75 million.
Demonstrated track record of success in the design, development, and completion of projects in area of functional expertise.
Demonstrated success of establishing, leading, and maintaining effective working relationships at the department level.
