It's Day 1 for Amazon's next billion-dollar business and we are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded Accounting Manager to work in a start-up environment who is passionate about space, technology and bringing broadband internet to communities.

• Drive projects, provide accounting guidance and often serve as first point of contact for finance and business partners to resolve issues.
• Execute judgment and ensure the right decisions are reached to accurately report financial results.
• Research, conclude and memorialize technical accounting position papers pertaining to new business initiatives and complex arrangements/transactions.
• Understand internal control design concepts sufficient to assess the effectiveness of controls in their area and to influence the design of systems, processes and controls for emerging and growing business activities.
• Deal with ambiguity and able to reprioritize based on multiple business needs.
• Escalate risks and issues as necessary to leadership.

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
