Sodexo Universitiesis seeking an experienced, engaging and cutting edge Retail Manager 2 for our award winning campus account in beautiful sunnyBoca Raton, Florida!

Sodexo Dining at Lynn Universityis seeking aRetail Manager 2with prior experience managing high volume/large scale college or university retail operations, high volume Bar/Alcohol service operations or a high volume restaurant background. The Retail Manager will enhance our customer experiences that exceed service expectations while continuing to innovate programing in our state of the art venue.

Lynn University is an American private university in beautifulBoca Raton, Florida. Founded in 1962, its students come from all over the USA and approximately 100 other nations: This operation features the Bobby Campbell Dining Commons, a 24-hour resident dining facility, and multiple retail accounts: Christine’s Bistro and the Perper Coffee House. While also boasting a catering team focused on high end deliverance and multi-tiered experiences.

Managing service to all customers including students, faculty, staff and VIP clientele. This operational position will also act as a liaison to the Athletics Department and oversee all onsite and offsite Athletics concession service, production and cash handling policies. In addition, the Retail Food Manager may assist, or assume responsibilities at other locations on campus as needed.

We are looking for candidates who will manage:
frontline staff;
cash handing process;
department HACCP and safety programs for regulatory compliance;
frontline training programs;
opening and closing the operation; and
daily operation standards.

Position Summary

Responsible for food quality & customer service in an operation that may have branded concepts or other retail offerings. Directs the work of hourly & supervisory food service workers.
Key Duties
- Ensures there is a zero harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees.
- Directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation that may include branded concepts ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources.
- Manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.
- Maintains client satisfaction for food quality & customer service.
- Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery.
- Supervises day-to-day work activities of food service workers.

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
