Registered Nurse (Rn) Pool

VILLA SAINT JOSEPH Registered Nurse (RN) Pool Villa Saint Joseph is currently hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) Pool. VSJ offers a positive work environment with multiple shifts available.
RN's job duties include but are not limited to: Job Summary: To provide excellence in nursing care to our residents in collaboration with other healthcare team members. To ensure safety and promote independence when appropriate in a retirement setting.
One (1) weekend / a month requirement. Oversees the care of residents and all the components of that care. Provide medical treatments as ordered. Responds to immediate family member concerns regarding resident care. Administers medications in a safe and effective manner. Participates in the initial and subsequent updating of care requirements for each resident, including working with DON to determine level of care. Able to collaborate with health care professionals via phone or tele-med. Records each medication delivery from Pharmacy during the shift and ensures accuracy. Communicates with physicians, and other professional service providers, regarding resident care issues and the scheduling of appointments and transportation. Oversees the Nursing Assistants. Responds to any immediate need or emergency situation in the building. Able to develop and implement care plan and update as needed. Primary Requirements: Must possess an RN license. Must be over 18 years of age. Must have licensed in the BPOA PA Licensing System. CPR/AED certification required. Experience in long term care required. Please apply online at Indeed.com.
