Refugee Programs CoordinatorCatholic Charities of Louisvillelouisville, KYApply The Refugee Programs Coordinator is a staff member of Migration and Refugee Services, a department of Catholic Charities of Louisville, Inc. The Refugee Programs Coordinator is expected to be familiar with case management program operations within Migration, and Refugee Services (MRS), including knowledge of program eligibility documents, services MRS provides to clients, and Kentucky Office for Refugees (KOR) reporting requirements. The Refugee Programs Coordinator oversees Case Management services and directly supervises staff serving clients' enrolled in Family Case Management (FCM) and Refugee Social Services (RSS).
SALARY $50,000 a year ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS: Lead the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and coaching of case management staff.Ensure the delivery and documentation of services in compliance with all program standards and grant requirements for the Refugee Social Services (RSS) and Family Case Management (FCM) programs. Services include but are not limited to: application for/replacement of documents (Social Security, EAD, Birth Certificate, and Green Cards), public benefits access, creation and implementation of Family Self-Sufficiency Plans, and all other required services.Screen clients for eligibility and assign cases to case workers.Coordinate the scheduling and content of orientations, check-in meetings, and case closure meetings.Support staff in troubleshooting and managing client-related issues and concerns and in making difficult decisionsDevelop and maintain positive relationships with community partnersEnsure staff provide effective family crisis management, including assistance with referrals to domestic violence and substance abuse programs.In collaboration with supervisor and staff, prepare and submit all programmatic and other performance reports.Conduct regular audits of physical and electronic client case files to ensure compliance with funding sources' guidelines. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, or related field and one year of relevant work experience are required.
