We are currently seeking a Public Relations and Communications Assistant to join our rapidly growing team. In this role, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop and execute successful public relations strategies, including event coordination and campaign development.
Responsibilities:
Manage and execute projects as designated by the Marketing Manager. Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Manager of Sales Operations to integrate PR campaigns with customer promotions. Stay updated on industry and competitive trends, and regularly inform sales and marketing teams of noteworthy news items and opportunities. Work with other departments as needed to promote the company's brand, products, and services. Assist the Marketing Manager in developing and refining measurement strategies for PR campaigns. Important Skills/Traits:
Excellent analytical and presentation skills, including the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously. Ability to balance strategic thinking and execution in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated creativity and resourcefulness. Self-confident and outgoing personality. Organized and detail-oriented. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Entrepreneurial attitude with the ability to think outside the box. Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Marketing, Public Relations, or a related discipline. 1-2 years of media relations experience in an agency or corporate setting, with demonstrated proficiency in public relations practices. Strong organizational skills. Impeccable attention to detail. Proactive, outgoing, positive, and professional personality.
